What is a Garden Room and how is it different from a shed or summer house?
A Garden Room is a fully insulated, watertight structure—more akin to a timber-framed bungalow—designed for long-term, comfortable use, not just storage like a shed.

We are always upfront about costs. After the site visit and design, we will give you a detailed quote. Unless there is a change in the design, there will be no additional costs or hidden costs.
How do your Garden Room compare with other modular garden rooms that are on the market?
Our Garden Rooms are a completely different build and, unlike modular or SIPs garden rooms, offer comfortable all-round use. Our wall thickness is 100mm thicker than the average modular garden room. We are the only garden room company that offers a high-quality external insulation, as well as 100mm cavity insulation, meaning we boost 100mm more insulation than the average modular garden room currently on the market.
What can I use my Garden Room for?
The possibilities are endless! We never change our build process depending on what your room is being used for. This means your room can evolve with the family's needs, so whether you are looking for living space, spare bedroom, home office, a gym, a playroom, a cinema room, or a craft/hobby room. We have you covered.
How long will it take to build a Garden Room?
Most average builds are completed within 4 weeks. If we are building you a larger more complex building with plumbing and landscaping, it could take up to 8 weeks.
What’s included in your standard Garden Room package?
We always offer a complete turn-key solution. Every build includes the full structure - from foundation to roof - with premium materials like EPDM rubber roofing, composite or real wood cladding, uPVC or aluminium doors and windows. All the electrics are taken care of including heating and finished to a professionally plastered and painted finish.
What customisation options and extras are available?
Tailor your Garden Room with extras like dividing walls, lighting, air conditioning, plumbing, soundproofing, kitchens, showers, partitions, decking, landscaping and more. There is nothing you can't have in your garden room that you can't have in your home, so the options are endless.

Are your Garden Rooms eco-friendly and sustainable?
Yes - built in Britain using eco-conscious materials, energy-efficient components, and designed for low maintenance, they’re also highly sustainable. Our garden rooms are built to a very high insulation value and are extremely energy efficient. They are also built with longevity in mind, with a realistic 50-60 year lifespan, unlike modular systems that will be in a landfill site within 15 years.
How much does a Garden Room cost?
Our garden rooms are custom-built to specifications so no two cost the same. This year, we have had garden rooms range from a 3x3m garden room for £23k+VAT to a 6x5m for £38k+VAT. We can also build over 30m2, we will build whatever is required.
Do you offer finance or staged payments?
We don’t currently offer a finance package, as many lenders withdrew interest-free and “buy now, pay later” schemes after COVID. In our experience, customers usually get better rates through remortgaging or high street lenders.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (except Amex), though most customers pay by bank transfer. Our standard payment schedule is:
10% – Deposit to confirm order and schedule works
10% – On signing off drawings
20% – Start of groundworks
20% – Start of garden room works
20% – Plasterboard tacking
20% – Practical completion
Be cautious of companies asking for very large deposits (sometimes up to 50%). We are often called in to fix poor workmanship, so it’s important to research carefully before committing.
Is everything included in the price, or are there hidden costs?
We pride ourselves on transparency regarding pricing. Unlike many other companies that will price a project low and come back with many add-ons after the project has been started, meaning the customer has no option but to agree. We are always upfront about costs. After the site visit and design, we will give you a detailed quote based on the specification discussed during the site visit. Unless there is a change in the design, such as increasing the size of the room or extra features, there will be no additional costs or hidden fees.
